1. Our Commitment

We recognize and fully support your right to request deletion of your personal information.
You may request that we erase personal data collected through:

  • VIP List or Newsletter subscriptions (e.g., your name and email).

  • Purchases made at any of our locations.

  • Inquiries submitted via our website or directly with our staff.

Upon receiving a valid request, we will securely delete your personal data from our systems unless retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

2. How to Submit a Data Deletion Request

To ensure we process your request accurately and securely, please provide the following information:

  1. Full Name (as used in your booking or subscription)

  2. Email Address (used for the VIP list, reservation, or event inquiry)

  3. Phone Number (used when booking or ordering, if applicable)

  4. Location of Service Used (Grand-Baie, Quatre Bornes, or Port-Louis)

  5. Brief Description of Your Interaction (e.g., “Subscribed to VIP list,” “Booked dinner on [date],” etc.)

If submitting by email, please include “Data Deletion Request” in the subject line.

3. Verification and Processing Timeline

After receiving your request, we will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt of your request within 5 business days.

  2. Verify your identity to ensure that we only process requests made by the data subject or an authorized representative.

  3. Process and confirm deletion of applicable personal data within 30 calendar days, unless an extension is required due to complexity or volume.

If additional information is needed to locate your records, we will contact you directly via your provided email or phone number.

You will receive written confirmation once your data has been deleted or anonymized from our systems.

4. Exceptions and Legal Retention

Please note that certain data cannot be deleted immediately if we are legally required to retain it.
Examples include:

  • Transaction or payment records necessary for financial, audit, or tax compliance under Mauritian law.

  • Event contracts or invoices that must be retained for statutory record-keeping periods.

  • Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data used for website performance and statistical purposes.

In such cases, we will restrict access to that data and retain it only for the minimum period required by law.
